ADIPEC was held from 12-15 November 2018. It is now the largest event of its kind in the world. Over 80 Ministers and CEOs in the Strategic Conference, 980 Speakers in the Technical Conference and 189 Conference Sessions.

Partex had an active participation in the organization, with José Pereira as member of the Executive Committee and member of the Jury of Excellence Awards. Maria Teresa Ribeiro and José Lozano were members of the Technical Programme Committee and chairpersons of technical sessions in the conference.

It was preceded, on 11^th January, by the CEO Roundtable Forum, a gathering of the CEO of ADNOC with CEOs of the major world oil and gas companies, moderated by Daniel Yergin. António Costa Silva represented Partex and was accompanied by José Pereira.

Partex was Silver Sponsor of ADIPEC and also sponsor of one category of the ADIPEC Excellence Awards. Fernando Alves presented the “Breakthrough Research of the Year” award to Saudi Aramco.
