On the 20th December 2009, 2% interest of the Ahnet license was awarded to Partex in consortium with Total.

The Ahnet area located in southwestern Algeria, with 12 gas discoveries, containing approximately 18 TCF of gas reserves, (141 thousand million cubic meters) will be developed by Total (47%) jointly with Partex (2%) and Sonatrach (51%).

The development plan to be submitted before mid 2011 for approval will guarantee at least a gas production of 4 billion cubic meters per year, with first gas production in 2015.

The Consortium Agreement was signed in Argel on 17th January 2010.
